So much pizza. All the time. Abby and Paige and Paige came over the other day and we ate tons of cheesy delicious things while watching The Dictator and doing homework. Gotta love college. Week two down; let the good times roll yo.

you know you're a cute little heart breaker

Me and Paigey went to Foxy Loxy for coffee the other day. I can't even put into words how happy I am to be home in Savannah. Life is so beautiful here, the people are so beautiful.
Paige's daisy ring is so cute, I think it was her grandma's or something. And also she's been wearing her childhood Aladin watch and various string bracelets from summer camps past. Cutie pie.

cousins

Today was my last day in Florida. Pas des soucis, there were no tears shed. I went to say goodbye to my little cousins Arden and Kiki and ended up watching them for an hour or so while my aunt went to the doctor. They wanted to play Littlest Pet Shop inside but I convinced them that going on a treasure hunt for rocks and flowers would be more fun. So we did.

I'm gonna talk about this video for a second alright? I just watched it for the first time today at work actually. It was a slow morning and we didn't really feel like swiffering or finishing replen so we went to Starbucks to get protein boxes then sat in the office to gossip, giggle, and poke around on Youtube while waiting for the mall to open. 

So obviously if you have eyes you can see that Selena is gorgeous. But the whole video was done so well, so artfully. The colors were were liquid, vivid, even sensual in a way. The scenery was appropriately exotic and the transitions between frames were as velvety smooth as Selena's voice. 

I'd also like to point out that I very much appreciate Selena's take on sexiness. Sultry and primal are the two words that come to mind while watching this video. She is very sophisticated and glamorous in a way that feels acceptably provocative. She isn't twerking around in latex lingerie making a hot ratchet mess of herself, because that just isn't her thing. (Disclaiming: I give props to Miley for her confidence and zero fs given attitude. She got what she wanted- attention. So, girl power.)  Instead, Selena is rolling around in a field of lavender laced up in a silk chiffon corset and smizing into the camera with soaking wet hair before plunging beneath the surface of a mystical teal blue spring. You wanna talk about sexy? I'd say Selena nailed it. Please enjoy the video below.

My boys came to see me over the past few days. It was so wonderful to finally see them again after so many months apart. They're like family to me and life without them just isn't the same. I showed them around town and we took the boat out; that was real fun. I meant to load up my Nikon with a new roll of film, but I never got around to it. Shame on me. At least I got a couple phone pics. Ry's twentieth birthday is tomorrow, so we had cake and pizza and presents and what not. I love that boy with all my heart. He's the sweetest thing I've ever known.
